This ride was one of my first roller coasters. I like it. I think it's way too rough though (not as rough as wooden coasters, or the Vortex). It's still a very cool coaster though. Very fun and worth the wait.
I like this ride but it has its cons. 1, it's very loud. 2, you can only put one cart at a time making for a longer wait time. 3, the two first inverions made me nauseous. 4, if you are facing the down side when going up, you feel like you are going to fall of, not a good feeling. 5, going backwards was scary and fun at the same time! (Idk if that is a pro or con) 6, the ride is short. 7, the invertago is a very common ride type. 8, it is one of the most jerky rides that I have been on! I honestly think that the vortex is less jerky. Pros, 1, the vertical loop was fun 2, I like how you go forwards once then you go backwards depending where you sit on the ride. 3, I like the pause on top of the thing before you fall.
The line to wait makes this ride less of a thrill. If there are more than 6 folks in the fast pass lane then it really lengthens your wait time in the regular line. Terrible. Put a few benches to sit on in the line for crying out loud.....
I absolutely love coasters and have ridden many of the best over my 59 years. This was not one of them. It whipped my neck around so much and put it into forward flexion more than is normally possible. Thought I might have done permenant damage. Immediate pain and still bothers me. Young kids whose necks are still developing should not be allowed on this ride and I say that as a medical professional. Way worse than the Vortex. Be careful.
Usually one of my favorites but my husband and I rode it last night and I buckled it and it was checked, but when we were done with the ride I went to unbuckle my belt and it had come undone while I was on the ride. Not riding it any more.
